Guyton – Daniel R. Choate, 67, passed away April 27, 2023 at his residence.

The Indiana native served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Mono-Sol. He enjoyed working on cars, lawnmowers, bikes, fixing things, tinkering on anything, and going to rummage sales. He loved spending time with his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elberta Taylor Choate; and sister, Patsy O'Berry.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Choate; daughter, Heather Smith (Justin); grandchildren, Aleczander Smith and Aurora Smith; brother, Philip Choate; sister, Leslie Yokshas; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 12 noon Sunday, May 7, 2023 at the funeral home chapel.
