Daniel LaDessie Zeigler, Jr.
Guyton – Daniel LaDessie Zeigler, Jr., 49, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2011.
The Effingham County native was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and a farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel LaDessie Zeigler and Loyua Louise Zipperer Zeigler.
Survivors include his siblings, Esther Burns of Guyton, Marvin (Sheila) Zeigler of Woodstock, Alexis Lester Zeigler of Charlottesville, VA, and Jerrie (Nick) Dimitrov of Savannah; 2 nephews and niece, Nick Dimitrov, Jr., Emily Ann Zeigler, and Ethan Paul Zeigler; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church. Mr. Zeigler will lie in state from 10 a.m.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery
