Danny L. Crabb, age 78, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Oreta Crabb; father-in-law Henry Clyde Sherrod; mother-in-law Dewese Sherrod; nephew Jeff Crabb; and brother-in-law Wayne Sherrod.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Regina Crabb; his daughter Jennifer Wheeles (Stephen); and his sons Joseph Crabb (Chastity), Jason Jordan (Jennifer), and Pete Jump (Dianna).

Danny was a proud grandpa to Makenzi Rogers, Tylor Rogers (Logan Tippins), Joseph Danny Crabb Jr. "JD", Allie Crabb, Brody Jordan, Brynley Jordan, Bryce Jordan, Jacob Wheeles, Megan Wheeles, and Chris Jump.
He was blessed with two great-grandchildren as well: Hudson Shreve and a baby boy Danny Everette due in March 2026.

He is also survived by his brothers Darwin Crabb (Margaret) and Randy Crabb; brothers-in-law Grady Sherrod (Janet) and Danny Sherrod (Debbie); sister-in-law Gale Sherrod; and several nieces, nephews.

Danny worked at Peeples Industries for nearly 27 years, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication, doing construction and loading ships.
Outside of work, Danny found true joy in spending time outdoors. He loved fishing with his kids, grandkids, and his lifelong friend Earl Mancil, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
He also enjoyed playing golf and spending time with those he loved most.

Danny will be remembered for his love of family, his hard-working spirit, and his kind and gentle heart.
His legacy will live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the love that continues through all who knew him.

Visitation: 11:30 am – 1 pm Tuesday October 28, 2025 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 1 pm Tuesday, October 28, 2025 in the funeral home chapel.
