Mrs. Daphine Paulk Corbitt, 83, as her mind & body, alas, achieved peace, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018 at The Place at Pooler.
Mrs. Corbitt was born in Irwin County, GA to the late Henry J. & Nora Paulk. She was also preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Frank Corbitt; son, Oliver V. Corbitt; sister, Yvonne "Bonnie" Lott; brothers, Riley Paulk and Sherman Paulk. She was the quintessential homemaker and an avid member of the First Baptist Church of Pooler where she attended the Win One Sunday School Class. She was a wonderfully beloved Nana, an imcomporable cook and seamstress, and had a Master's Degree in Crafting. She was also a member of the Pooler Senior Citizens.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Macon Corbitt Clemmons, Lauralyn Corbitt Jarrell and Zeke Corbitt; great-grandchildren, Tripp, Noah, Chloe, Evan, and Emma Jarrell, Dylan, Kelly, and Mallory Clemmons and Lacie Scardinia; daughter, Cathy & Ron Rose; sisters-in-law, Mary Beth Corbitt and Sally Deems; several nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Pooler with Rev. Jason Rowe officiating.
Remembrances may be given to the First Baptist Church of Pooler located at 204 U.S. Hwy. 80.
