Daphne R. Stuck, 70, of Rincon, Georgia was called home to Jesus on March 16, 2026 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, Georgia surrounded by her loving family.
Daphne was proceeded in death by her parents Claudine and Howard Rhiner; sister Teresa Scott.
Survivors include daughters Jennifer Womack (Wesley) of Cary, NC and Tracy Cobb (Jason) of Rincon, GA; grandchildren, Baylon Cobb, Allison Womack, and Brody Cobb; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Daphne graduated from Savannah Christian Preparatory School in 1973. She spent many years as a loving devoted mother raising her two daughters. She was an active member of The Baptist Church at Ebenezer. Some of her favorite hobbies included league bowling, baking amazing cakes, gardening, and bird watching. She spent many years actively serving and volunteering for school events. Above all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a very sweet, caring, and compassionate woman. Her bright spirit touched many lives.
The active pallbearers for Daphne will be Baylon and Brody Cobb (grandchildren); Robert and Allen Taylor (nephews), Ashley McGlohon (nephew) and Aaron Odom (nephew). Randy Odom (brother-in-law) will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Visitation: Friday, March 20, 2026, 2:00-3:00 pm with a Celebration of Life service to follow at Strickland Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel. Graveside service will be held immediately after at Springfield Cemetery Annex.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer.
