Obituary
Guyton – Mrs. Darwese "Dot" Boxxe, 85, passed away Friday, July 27, 2012 at her home under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Dot was a homemaker and a member of Powers Baptist Church. She loved her family dearly. She was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Neil Morgan.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, William E. Boxxe; children, Freddie and Pearline Boxxe, Cheryl Morgan, Ruth B. and Jimmy Oates, Mary and Joe Hodges; grandchildren, Darrell Morgan, Cynthia O. Waters, Jamie Oates, Brandon Hodges and Justin Hodges; along with 10 great grandchildren.
The funeral to celebrate Mrs. Boxxe's life was at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Powers Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Cowart officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Marcia Fail and Mr. Tommy Long. Pallbearers were Darrell Morgan, Jamie Oates, Brandon Hodges, Justin Hodges, James Waters and Clint Morgan. Burial followed at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
