Mr. Darwin Lanny Turner, 80, of Port Wentworth, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Joyce Turner; son, Charles Turner; daughter, Susan Robb; grandchildren, Ethan and Brooke Robb, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Darwin was born in Alma, Georgia on March 28, 1944.  He was proceeded in death by his father, Floyd Turner; mother, Vernie Dunlap; step-father, Bert Dunlap; brother, Kendall Turner, and son-in-law, Eric Robb.

Darwin as an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and restoring old cars.

The visitation will be on Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 12 noon until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.  The funeral to honor Darwin's life will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
