Mr. David Richard Sutherland, "Bobtail", 76, of Ellabell, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Orange Park Hospital.

David was born in Newton, New Jersey and loved being a truck driver.  He helped start a neighborhood watch with friends and their CB radios.  He enjoyed singing and dancing and was known to be a "armchair lawyer".

Survivors include the mother of his children and the love of his life, Terry Sutherland; children and spouses, Martha Canady, Timothy and Lindsey Sutherland, Scott Sutherland, Anthony Sutherland and Brittany Carver, Elizabeth Sutherland, Jessica and John O'Neal; grandchildren, Chainey and Trey Garris, Nikki and Tyler Canady, Kyri Sutherland, Ansley O'Neal, Masey O'Neal, Christian, Micah, Kaleb, and Raelynn Sutherland; great-grandchildren, Tommy, Jimmy, and Jennie Garris.

David's wishes were to be cremated and the family will have a private memorial service to honor his life.
