David Edwards
Darien- David Edwards, 66, died Saturday, May 14, 2016 at his home.
The Effingham County native was retired from the Georgia DNR having managed the Altamaha Wildlife Refuge for many years. David loved fishing and hunting, and even operated charter fishing trips.
He is survived by his wife, Leta V. Edwards; sons, Chris Edwards (Lisa) and Michael Edwards (Tia); grandchildren, Chloe Belle Edwards, Savannah Edwards, Cade Edwards, Aleena Edwards, and Eliza Edwards; a brother, Arthur Edwards (Karen); sister, Peggy E. Bevill (Vance); and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2 pm Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Springfield.
