David Larry Garland, Sr.
Concord, NC – David Larry Garland, Sr., 71, passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 at his residence.
The Tattnall County native retired from Gulfstream, was a Mason, and member of the Lion's Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildredge and Nadine Garland; and his brother, Gary Garland.
Survivors include his sons, Larry Garland, Jr. of Port Wentworth, Ricky Garland of Concord, NC, Jimmy Garland of Savannah, and Adam Garland of Rincon; daughters, Julie Parker and Tammy Gay both of Guyton; brothers, Tommy Garland and Richard Garland; sisters, Glenda Jones and Marian Mejia; grandchildren, Trey Garland, Crystal Garland, Noah Parker, Jenny Parker, Brian Parker, Abbigail Gay, Carson Gay, Grace Garland, and Hannah Garland; great-grandchildren, Colton Garland, Trace Gabriel Garland, and Mason James Garland.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 3 p.m. in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
