Springfield – David Harold Griffis,76, was born September 21, 1945 to Brady & Clara Griffis and went to eternal rest, Friday, May 6, 2022 at Pineview Nursing & Rehab Center.

The Wayne County native was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Donald Griffis, Joseph "Sonny" Griffis, Emory "Earl" Griffis; and James Carroll Griffis.

Survivors include his sisters, Shirley Griffis Shearouse (Carson) and Aloise Turner Dowd (Glen); brother, Lamar Griffis (Dorothy); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.
