Mr. David Everette Grizzard, 79, of Rincon, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

David was born in Savannah, Georgia and had lived there for a number of years before moving to Rincon.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex William Grizzard and Nella Inez Davis Grizzard.  He was also preceded in death by several brothers and a sister.  He retired from the United States Army and was a decorated Vietnam Veteran.  He loved his country and his family.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Judy Ann Grizzard; two children, William Alex Grizzard (Jamie) and Angela Lynn Harris; grandchildren, Michael Alexander Mansur (Amber) and Timothy David Mansur; great-granddaughter, Olivia Grace Mansur; sisters, Pat Holton and Margie Ray, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.  The funeral to honor David's life will follow at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery on Little Neck Road.
