Guyton – David was graduated from Bradwell High School 1968. Upon his graduation, he immediately joined the United States Army. He served from 1968 and he retired as a Master Sergeant in February 1989.

David loved to travel. After retiring from the Army, he began his second career as an OTR truck driver. He retired from driving in 2005.

David is preceded in death by his mother, Marie Laird Henry Clements from Sylvania, GA; his father, Robert Henry from Pinevale, LA; his step-father, Jack Clements from Sylvania, GA; his brother, Donald Henry from Sylvania, GA.

He is survived by four children, David Garth Henry (Dana) of Savannah, GA, William Bradford Henry (Katie), Jack Clark Henry (Angie) of Claxton, GA, and Sarah Henry of Portal, GA; two step-children, Geni Bramlett (Jamie)of Marshfield, MO and Frani Spain (Jason) of Marshfield, MO; a sister, Sally Estes (Phillip) of Newnan, GA; and LouJeanne Henry of Guyton.

David was blessed with 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

David will be laid to rest 1 pm Friday, May 28, 2021 at Georgia Veterans Cemetery in Glennville, GA.
