David T. McLaughlin, 61, of Faulkville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 6, 2020.

David was born in Savannah, Georgia to the late William J. McLaughlin and Ellen C. McLaughlin.  He was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Pezzuto, and two brothers, Edwin L. McLaughlin and William A. McLaughlin.  He had formerly been employed at General Electric and Western Auto, as well as Snacks and Such.  He enjoyed racing and was a gifted mechanic.

Survivors include his loving partner of 21 years, Robin Edwards; loving daughter, Ashley McLaughlin; sister, Helen McCutchen; grandson, Aiden; 5 step-grandchildren, Tristen, Jaidan, Talen, Trace and Jacob; step-daughters, Tiffany Lovezzola and Jennifer Lee.

The memorial service to honor David's life will be at 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 West Highway 80 in Pooler with Rev. Brad Proudfoot officiating.  All CDC and social distancing guidelines will be in place, including the wearing of masks (Chatham County Mandate)
