Rincon - Mr. David Hyndel "Mr. Ed" Edenfield, 86 died Friday, October 10, 2008 at Chandler Hospital.

The Appling County native was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. He was an agent having retired from Life of Georgia and a member of Country Side Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Bragg Edenfield of Rincon; daughter, Deborah McLean of Tallahassee, FL; sons and daughters-in-law, David Brent & Janice Edenfield of Savannah, Stephen Reid & Edwina Edenfield of Harrisburg, NC; 3 granddaughters; and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel.

Interment will follow in Bonaventure Cemetery.
