David D. Myrick, age 59, passed away peacefully at home February 13, 2024.
David was employed with Gamron, Inc. for 22+ years as Head Big Equipment Technician. He was an avid fisherman, GA DAWG & Falcon fan and NASCAR fan. David loved anything to do with cars and enjoyed a short racing career with Oglethorpe Speedway in the Super 4 Division. Known as "Machine Gun Myrick" winning Rookie of the year his rookie year. He also loved spending time & celebrating with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Robin Myrick; son, Brandon D. Myrick, (Shelby); with grandchildren, Oliver & Lily. Daughters, Kacey Myrick and Sheena Aikens with granddaughter, Isabella. His brother, Johnny Myrick (Tammy); and children, Brandy and Kyle; brother-in-law, Ricky Cowart (Kathleen); and children, Brooke and Taylor; sister-in-law, Connie Cowart Wimmer (Joey Nesmith), and children, Lindsey Collins and Heather Davis (Daniel); and many loving nieces and nephews.

A visitation service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
