Rincon- David L. Padgett, 77, died Monday, September 14, 2015 at his home.
The Jacksonville, FL native was retired from Roger Wood and was a member of Rincon Baptist Temple. He was a former Mayor of Rincon and was an ordained minister.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Judy Padgett; children, Becky Rought (Shorty), Paul Padgett (Pam), and Rachel Lee (Lamar); a brother, Jimmie Padgett (Manny); a sister, Pat Kimsey (Mike); 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 5-7 pm Wednesday, September 16, 2015 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 am Thursday, September, 17, 2015 at Rincon Baptist Temple.
Interment: Rincon Cemetery
