Mr. David F. "Papa Taz" Sanders, 66, of Port Wentworth, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Doctors Hospital in Augusta.

He was born in Oakland, CA to the late David Lanier Sanders & Charlene Eason Sanders.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Louise Sanders and his brother, Richard Lanier Sanders.  David served his country in the U.S. Army and later retired from the Veterans Administration.

Survivors include his children, their spouses, and his grandchildren, Sean Sanders (Christy), R. Scott Sanders, Jaeden, Shane Sanders (Amanda), Emmaline and Avery; sisters, Sherri Wiley and Ginger Godbee (Allen), as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
