David Lee Short, age 71, of Jackson, GA passed away Monday evening, March 24, 2014.  Mr. and Mrs. Short were former residents of Orlando, FL before moving to Jackson.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Ashton Helmly Short, daughter, Michelle Short of Tucker, GA, 10 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for David Lee Short will be Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home in Jackson.  Dr. Frank Brock will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service.

Mr. Short will be carried to Rincon, GA where graveside services will be at 1:00PM Friday at the Jerusalem Lutheran Cemetery (Ebenezer) near Rincon, GA.
