Bloomingdale-Mr. David Attacus Strange, 65, died on Tuesday, September 2, 2008.
Mr. Strange was born in Toombs County and was a Methodist. He formerly was
employed with Scott's Auto Paint & Body Shop and he served his country in the U.S.
Army. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jamie Lynn Sparks.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Strange of Bloomingdale; children, David Strange of
Pooler, Deborah Maruca of Rincon and Rebecca Strange of West Virginia; step-children,
Donna Vickers of Alapaha and Teresa McDaniel of Savannah; nine grandchildren and
four great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2008 at the funeral home.
Funeral: 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2008 in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at 2 p.m. at Harden's Chapel Cemetery near Lyons, Georgia.
