David Lee West
Rincon- David Lee West, 61, died Wednesday, January 25, 2017 in his home.
The Algood, TN native was a loving husband and father, an excellent ER nurse, and veteran. He attended Rincon Baptist Temple. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Lee and Opal West.
David loved the Lord. David was passionate about nursing, having worked at over 70 hospitals and saving many lives. He was a great provider, avid reader and golfer. David had a fun-loving and gentle nature. He was very generous to all and rescued many animals.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa West of Rincon; children, Amy Fleming (Mark) of Tomball, TX, Kelley Franklin (Ben) of Metter, Cayce West (Jauvon)of Rincon, Chris West of Savannah, and Cody West (Kat)of Springfield; 5 grandchildren, Emily, Hannah, Hardy, Jackson, and Arianna; his sister, Debbie Summers (Jerry)of Hixson, TN; and special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Grover and Sharon Rivenbark of Cleveland, TN.
Visitation: 10-11 am Saturday, January 28, 2017 in the funeral home.
Memorial Service: 11 am Saturday, January 28, 2017 in the funeral home chapel.
