David Blois Zeigler

Rincon – Mr. David Blois Zeigler, 76, passed away peacefully October 8, 2026 at home surrounded by his loving and devoted family.

In his youth, David spent his time hunting and fishing with friends. He kept his hands busy tying knots of all kinds and fabricating anything imaginable. David was also an avid reader and loved the Braves.

David was a retired Boilermaker from Union Local 26. He was an active member of Bible Lutheran Church in Rincon.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Nora Cannon Zeigler; his father, Milton P. Zeigler; his son, Marcus Cannon Zeigler; and his grandson, Wyatt Alan Zeigler.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 48 years, Connie Wood Zeigler; his first born son, Dusty Zeigler (Elaina) of Sylvania, and their children, Kyle Zeigler (Victoria) and their children Brayden and Raeleigh of Sylvania, Trent Zeigler (Caroline)and their children, Samson, Leo, and Elliot of North Carolina, Melanie Zeigler (fiancé Justin Wilcox); daughter of Marcus, Mary Grace Zeigler of North Carolina; Amanda Rutland (Nathaniel) and their children, Grant, Ella, Gracie, Whitney, and Claire of Rincon; Alan Zeigler (Ashley) and their children, Nora, Paul, Abigail, and Kate of Clyo; his brother, James Zeigler; and many nieces and nephews and in-laws who loved David very much.

Visitation: 9:30 am – 11 am Monday, October 12, 2026 at Bible Lutheran Church.

Funeral: 11 am Monday, October 12. 2026 at Bible Lutheran Church.

Interment: Jerusalem Lutheran Church Cemetery
