Dayna Lynn Sapp Owens

Dayna Lynn Sapp Owens passed away unexpectedly on April 3, 2026.

Dayna called Savannah, Ga. home originally, but eventually settled in Guyton, Ga in Effingham County. Diagnosed later in life with epilepsy, Dayna struggled with many medical issues. She enjoyed nurturing plants, playing cards with family, and spending time with her beloved boyfriend Danny. She loved cats and other animals. Dayna was a believer and read the bible with family on Sundays as fellowship. She was a very unique soul who lived her life on her terms unapologetically.

Dayna was preceded in death by her father, Orell Sapp.

Dayna is survived by her loving mother, Jeanette Sapp, and her sister, Theresa Sapp Floyd (Farris), and her brother, Robert Sapp; by her children: Daisy, Oliver, Ivy, Lillyana, Liam, Benjamin, Blaze, along with many aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026 at Strickland Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel, 2460 Hwy. 21 S., Rincon, GA 31326. 912-754-6421
