Dean Stanley Edwards
Springfield – Dean Stanley Edwards, 64, entered eternal rest on Saturday, February 5, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Muriel Edwards, and brother, Corley Edwards.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was a proud member of the Army band. Music was his first love. Throughout his life he enjoyed playing a variety of music on his guitar.
He is survived by his daughter, Jenna Edwards and son, Shawn Edwards; two sisters, Martha (Charlie) Crews and Sandra (Norwood) Zittrouer; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, February 7, 2011 at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Turkey Branch United Methodist Church.
Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery Annex.
