DeAnn Drake Neal

DeAnn Drake Neal went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 1, 2011.
She graduated from Effingham County High School in 1984. After high School she went on to Georgia Southern and received a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and later a Masters Degree in Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University. She was employed by the Effingham County School Board for 10 years and was currently teaching at Effingham County High School. Prior to that she taught at Marlow Elementary for 9 years.
DeAnn attended Savannah Christian Church and was a member of North Salem Baptist Church. She was a faithful Christian, a caring daughter, and a loving and devoted mother.
She is survived by her son Cody Neal of Rincon, her parents, Edwin and Carolyn Drake of Rincon, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home,
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel.
Pallbearers will be Lee Lutton, Henry Dickerson, Kevin Tompkins, Dillan Kingsberry, Justin Brabham, and Wendell Shearouse.
Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
