Mrs. Deborah H. Hilton, 70, of Midway, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Mrs. Deborah was born in Fresno, CA but spent her early years in Savannah and the last 40 years in Liberty County. She devoted her life to work and family. Debby began her career at Savannah Foods & Industries in 1971 and most recently retired from Diamond Crystal Brands, Inc. in 2016 after 45 years of service. During her career, she worked in many departments: Feed Molasses, Sales, Inventory, Rebates, Pricing, and Customer Service. In 2008, Debby was promoted to Director of Sales Administration where she assisted the Vice President-Food Service Sales with various projects regarding customer service and sales to insure efficient, quality order-processing and shipment of products. Debby had a "spirit of excellence" in everything she did and leaves behind a Legacy of inspiration and motivation with the many colleagues that she mentored over her tenure. Her organizational skills will live on in the systems and policies that she authored and enforced at Diamond Crystal Brands. She was a crafter, an avid book reader, and a home designer. She will truly be missed.

Survivors include her husband, Harry Hilton; her only child, Robert "Robby" Hilton and his wife, Starlin; four wonderful step-children, Pam Hilton, Kim Parker, Danny Hilton and Bubba Hilton; nephews, Randy, Ronnie, Jr., Ryan, and Bobby Hankinson:a number of grandchildren, sisters-in-law, neices, nephews, friends, and dogs.

The memorial service will be on Saturday, December 16th at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 W. Hwy 80 in Pooler.
