Debra (Thompson) Stanley, 69, of Ellabell, GA, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Saturday, April 16, 2022.

Debra was a graduate of Savannah High School in 1970.  She was a beloved mother, grandmother, wife and successful business owner in Garden City for many years.  She had a love for her fur-baby, Chase, and they were inseparable.  Debra carried a bright light of love and was an inspiration for all who knew her.  Her favorite pastimes were working in her flower gardens and bird watching.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles P. Thompson, II and Idell Nease Wilson, and a brother, Charles (Chuck) P. Thompson, III.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Eugene Stanley of Ellabell; a daughter, Debra Michelle Gibbs (Shane) of Ellabell; a son, Harley Ray (Brandi) of Dawsonville, GA; a step-daughter, Mallory Dasher (Ron) of Guyton; a step-son, Cory Stanley of McDonough, GA; five grandchildren, Ashley Gibbs, Preslie and Eli Ray, Nora and Truett Turner.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, April 20 ^th from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral will be on Thursday, April 21 ^st at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, gift cards may be given to the Stanley family, which in turn will be given to the tornado victims of Bryan County.
