Rincon – DeLane Bowen Lehman, 77, passed away April 26, 2023 at Effingham Care Center.

The Macon, GA native was a graduate of Mercer University School of Nursing. She lived most of her life in Griffin, GA where she worked as a registered nurse with Spaulding Regional Hospital. After retiring, she moved near her son in the Lake Oconee area and then to Effingham County. DeLane had a passion for antiques and a love for horses and dogs, especially Jack Russell Terriers. Her biggest love was for her grandchildren and their care.

Survivors include her sons, Wesley Don Ensley (Kristin) and Bradley Todd Ensley; 4 grandchildren, Sammy, Cara, Madeleine, and John Ensley; and a niece, Susan Paige Stock.

Visitation: 12 – 1 pm Saturday, May 6, 2023 in the funeral home.
