Delores Crosby Cooper, 80, passed away on September 30, 2014 at Heritage Inn Nursing Home in Statesboro.
Mrs. Cooper was born on April 29, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Grover and Thelma Crosby. She worked for Gulfstream Aerospace for over thirty years before retiring. Mrs. Cooper was a member of Elam Egypt Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Charlie Cooper.
Surviving are two sons, Ronnie Cooper and his wife, Teresa of Statesboro and Randy Barron of Guyton; her daughter, Robin Kea and her husband, David of Brooklet ; three sisters; Nina Parrish and her husband, Bob of Guyton, Jackie Zipperer of Port Wentworth, and Clydene Rawls of Rincon; her brother, Grover Crosby Jr. and his wife, Donna of Rincon; eight grandchildren; eight great - grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 Wednesday at the funeral home
Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Elder Michael Newman officiating.
Interment: Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery
