Mrs. Deloris Glisson, 93, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Candler Hospital.

Deloris was born in Effingham County, spent the majority of her life living in Garden City, before moving to Bloomingdale several years ago.  She was preceded in death by her husband, T.F. Glisson, and her parents, Gurllie Powell and Mrytice Floyd Powell.  She was a homemaker and is remembered as being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca Rawlins; grandchildren, Larry Rawlins (Cindy) and Laura Lopez (Ray); great-grandchildren, Tres Hester (Angel), Taylor Rawlins, Caleb Lopez, and Haley Lopez; great-great-grandchild, Landon Hester; brother, Gilbert Powell (Shirley); sister, Lucretia Ruff (Doyle), as well as several nieces and nephews.

The graveside funeral and burial to honor Deloris' life will be private.
