Deloris Sasser Kondas
Rincon – Deloris Sasser Kondas, 81, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012 at Westview Nursing Home.
The Screven County native was a member of Rincon United Methodist Church, served as past president and past secretary of the Rincon Lions Club, and served as Grand Marshall for the Rincon Lions Club Parade. She retired from Sears after over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Lena Mincey Sasser; husband, Joseph John Kondas; and step-son, Andy Kondas.
Survivors include her children, Janice Sheppard of Savannah, Connie Sheley of Rincon, Joseph Morris of Rincon, and Jimmy Morris of Lawrenceville; step-children, John Kondas of Banner Elk, NC and Carol Horton of Atlanta; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 2 nephews.
Visitation will be 6 – 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey West.
Remembrances may be given to Rincon Lions Club.
