Rincon – Denise L. Lines, 62, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by loved ones.

The Augusta GA native was a member of New Bethel AME Church and a retired bookkeeper. Denise loved crocheting and crafts, singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School and attending Bible studies. She was preceded in death by her parents, David & Bernice Lines; and her brother Glenn Lines.

Survivors include her brothers, David Lines (Patricia), Andrew Lines (Katherine), Steven Lines (Shelley), and Greg Lines (Maria); sister-in-law, Mellode Lines; daughter, Lisa Marie Smith (Shaun); and numerous nieces/nephews and other relatives.

Services will be private.
