South Guyton-Mr. Derrick Rogers, 71, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Westview Nursing Home.
Mr. Derrick was born in Claxton to the late Odis & Carolyn B. Rogers. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia S. Rogers. He was the former owner/operator of Parts & Service Unlimited. He enjoyed fishing, hot-roddin, and will always be remembered as a "Ford Man".
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene & James Sheffield, and Traci & David Sapp; grandchildren, Courtney and Logan; brother, Sidney Rogers, and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be on Saturday from 2 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home with the funeral to follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
