Diane Stokes Exley

Rincon – Diane Stokes Exley, 71, passed away June 14, 2018 at Memorial Health.

The Chatham County native was a member of Union Baptist Church, retired from Belk's, and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Leroy Stokes, Sr. and Kathleen Thornton Stokes "Kitty"; and brother, Walter Leroy Stokes, Jr.  "Stokey".

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Exley of Rincon; daughter, Lisa Coursey of Springfield; son, Jimmy "Jimbo" Ford; grandchildren, Tyler, Katie, Jeffery, Chloe; sister, SuzAnne Stokes Edwards (Ronnie); niece, Emileigh Gilgen (Chad) and their children, Christopher, Hannah, and Joshua; step-son, Robbie Exley (Amy) and their son, Courtland.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. in the chapel.

Interment will follow in Bonaventure Cemetery.
