Dixie Hinely Zeigler
Springfield – Dixie Hinely Zeigler, 79, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Ogeechee Hospice.
The Effingham County native was a member of Springfield United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She had worked at Springfield United Methodist Church as secretary for 9 years and the A.S.C.S. office. She was preceded in death by her parents, Denton Revere Hinely and Annie Bray Hinely.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Calvin A. Zeigler; children, Tony (Daphne) Zeigler of Townsend, Kim (Bruce) Jones of Guyton, Craig (Leeanna) Zeigler of Clyo; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Christy Hinely Morgan of Springfield; brothers, Rewis Hinely of Springfield and Edward Hinely of Garden City; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery.
Remembrances may be given to Ogeechee Hospice, 200 Donehoo St., Statesboro, GA 30458.
