Mr. Dock "Ron" Ronald Gordy, 75, of Savannah, GA passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Candler Hospital surrounded by his family.

Ron was born in Lyons, GA to the late Jim Paul Gordy, Sr. and Evelyn Mosley Daniel.  He was also preceded in death by siblings, Martha Nell Powell, Helen Kirkland, Faye Tyson, and Billy Gordy.  Ron was employed for 47 years at Great Dane and will be remembered for being a "people person" and the many relationships that he formed over those years.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Garden City.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Betty Gordy; children, Ronald Chan Gordy (Christine) and Rhonda Gordy; grandchildren, Jordan Stanley (Tre'), Taylor Gordy, and Josie Flathman; siblings, Jim Paul Gordy, Jr., Robert Gordy (Sue), Michael Gordy (Jennie), Wallace Gordy (Leeann), and Ann Alchian (Allen), as well as several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral will be on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
