Savannah – Dolores Lee Scarboro Omspacker, 80, passed away peacefully September 20, 2025 at Legacy at Savannah Quarters.
Dee resided in Effingham County and was a graduate of Effingham County High School. She was a talented artist and had a successful business painting beautiful custom artwork, Wood Creations by Dee.
Her greatest joys were her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her painting and enjoying her rose garden.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents, James Harold Scarboro and Reba Smith Scarboro; sisters, Jean Bacon and Mary Scarboro; brothers, Ray, Kenneth and Sonny Scarboro.
Dee is survived by her husband, Russell Omspacker whom she married December 4, 2013; son, Melvin Wade Durrence (Melinda); daughter, Salena Lee Grissette (Timothy); 3 grandchildren, Wade Garrett Durrence (Bri), Timothy Brandon Grissette, and Shelby Nichole Arias (Andrew); 2 great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Wesley Durrence; sister, Gail Smith; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at the funeral home followed by memorial services at 11 a.m. in the chapel.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at GA Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville.
