Bloomingdale-Mr. Don M. DeLoach, 70, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2009 at Candler Hospital.
Mr. DeLoach was born in Nevils and enjoyed fishing and helping people. He was a member of South Newington Baptist Church. He retired from Hunter Army Airfield and served his country in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis DeLoach of Bloomingdale; children, Curtis (Amanda) DeLoach of Statesboro, Thomas Sanders of Savannah, Donna (Jack) Godowns of Louisville, Marlene (Ted) Hathcock of Bloomingdale, Becky (Allen) Amerson of Louisville and Donna (Johnny) Gilmore of Effingham County; nine grandchildren; brother, Dean (Flary Mae) DeLoach of Nevils; sister, Crystal (James) Hotchkiss of Statesboro.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 10 a.m. on Thursday at South Newington Baptist Church with burial to follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
