Rincon – Donald Kemp Gatewood passed away September 22, 2022 at home surrounded by his family and friends after a short illness.

He is preceded in death by his youngest son, Christopher; his mom, Mary; and his father, Marion Gatewood.

He leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Kim Gatewood; his son, Steven Richard Gatewood; daughter-in-law, Karla Clinton Gatewood; four grandchildren; a brother, Gary Hugh Gatewood; and many family and friends.

He worked for Union Camp & International Paper, having retired in 2018. He loved tinkering on cars and building things.

There will be a visitation/gathering at 12 noon – 1:30 pm Saturday, October 1, 2022 in the funeral home.
