Guyton – Donald "Chad" Cason, 49, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at work.

He was born in Fort Hood, TX, but was a lifelong resident of Guyton.  He was a member of Turkey Branch Baptist Church and worked at Gulf State Cold Storage.  Chad had a servant's heart and cared for others in need. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sara & Elton Hall; and his step-father, Bill Powell.

He is survived by his wife, Dana Cason; his children, Kristen Sherwood (Hunter), Chloe Jones, Kirsten Jones, Gabriel Jones, and Katie Cason; his mother, Cheryl Hall Powell; grandchildren, Evelyn Sherwood, Elijah Sherwood, and Tripp Cason; sister, Pamela "Jodi" Kendrick (Bobby); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 10- 11 am Monday, April 22, 2024 at Turkey Branch Baptist Church.

Interment: Elam-Egypt Baptist Church Cemetery
