Guyton-Mr. Donald B. Comer, 56, died on Monday, September 22, 2008 at his home.

Don has gone to be with his Heavenly Father after a courageous fight with cancer. He
was a loving, generous father and husband. Don worked as a traveling Radiologic
Technologist and made friends everywhere he went. He was quick with a kind word or
even a song for anxious patients in his care. He had the gift of loving people and loving
music. The combination brought joy to many. Don loved life, his family and his God.
Worshipping through music was his greatest joy. Don was a member of the First Baptist
Church of Pooler where he attended The Sower Sunday School Class. Don was born in
Rhode Island and was preceded in death by his mother, Mackey Brantley Comer.

Survivors include his wife, Sandee Comer of Guyton; children, Matthew Comer of
Lawrenceville, Ryan Comer of Madison, Wisconsin, Andrew Comer of Atlanta, Alyssa
Bertolozzi of Guyton and Cole Bertolozzi of Tacoma, Washington; father, Bruce Banks
Comer of Savannah; sister, Elizabeth A. Homans of Beershiva, Israel; one aunt, one uncle
and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial Service: 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Pooler.
