Obituary
Garden City/Pooler-Mr. Donald H. Cooper, 69, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
Donald was born in Vidalia to the late Herbert & Clara Mae Cooper. He was also preceded in death by four brothers. He served his country in the U.S. Army, and retired as a Millwright. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, and working on vehicles.
Survivors include his daughters, Silvia & Craig Spilliards, and Eleanor & Buddy Bowen; grandchildren, Robert Austin Cooper, Timothy Craig Spilliards, Jr., and Morgan Elizabeth Bowen; great-grandchild, Skylar Rose Cooper; sister, Joyce Cooler, and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be on Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. with the memorial service beginning at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that remembrances be given to the Georgia Sea Turtle Center, 100 James Road, Jekyll Island, GA 31527.
