Donald Keith Cox, 1936-2021, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jane Jones Cox, son David Cox, and daughter, Paula Cox. Keith has two granddaughters, Candace Jackson and Haley Hill (Jeremy). He loved his 5 beautiful great grandchildren: Sawyer, Rhett, and Magnolia Jackson, Cade and Charlee Jane Hill. He is survived, also by one brother, Barclay Cox (Nancy) of Nashville, TN and a large family and many friends.

Keith retired from Savannah Sugar Refinery in 1995. He spent many years on the Garden City city council, attended Chapel in the Gardens Presbyterian Church and was active in many organizations. He was a member of Compassion Christian where he and Jane have hosted a Life group for 15 years.

The visitation will be at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, WEST CHATHAM CHAPEL, on Saturday, November 27, 2021, from 1 pm to 3 pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
