Donald Sloop "Don Scott"

Don Scott passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 after a long battle with COVID.

He was raised in Miami, Florida and was a graduate of Miami Dade College.  Don spent most of his life in radio, most recently at the radio station I-95 as Program Director.  He was with I-95 for almost 30 years in several capacities.  He spent a lot of his time providing D.J. services for weddings and corporate events.

Don was also involved in many community services including Toys for Tots and Toy Rides and St. Jude campaigning to benefit local children.  He was presented with the Outstanding Citizen Award from the Georgia Secretary of State.  He also attended Bloomingdale Alliance Church.

Survivors include the love of his life, his wife Tammy of 17 years, six children, Christopher, Michael, Zachary, Alana, Austin, and Summer.

The visitation will be on Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral will be on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery.
