Mr. Donald Foshay Philipp, 82, of Pooler, GA, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at his home.

Don was born in Minneapolis, MN to the late Donald Charles and Julianne Philipp.  He was also preceded in death by his beloved step-mother, Alice.  Don was an active member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Port Wentworth.  He had been employed with Modern Builders for 11 years and retired from Dal-Tile after 13 years.  He will be remembered for being a hard worker, his leadership, and his integrity.  He was a natural-born leader, humble, and dependable.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved animals, and gospel music.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Taylor Philipp; step-children, Anna Lee Banister, Scott Lee, and Ryan Lee (Lauren); grandchildren, Chandler (Brittney), Caleb (deceased)(Lexi), Grace, Emily, Caroline, Abbey, Raylan, and Walker; great-grandchildren, Ella Rae and Caden; sister, Pam Limehouse; nieces, Kelly Limehouse and Katheryn Limehouse (deceased); and great-nephew, Donnie Gaines.

The visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at the funeral home.

The funeral to honor Don's life will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 13, 2023 in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Guyton Cemetery.
