Port Wentworth - Donald Lee Wegmann, III, 47, passed away on Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mr. Wegmann was a Mason and a member of the Alee Shriner Hillbilly Unit, and a 5-Time NASCAR Dirt Track Racing Champion. He loved Halloween and riding around on his golf cart with his dog, Skip. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ed Duran.
Survivors include his wife of over 19 years, Jennifer Wegmann; son, Spencer Wegmann; mother, Virginia Wegmann; father, Donald (Dorothy) Wegmann, Jr.; brother, Randall (Stephanie) Wegmann and Chad Wegmann; mother-in-law, Judy Duran, father-in-law, James (Lynette) Manning; sister-in-law, Julie (Paul) Mizell; brother-in-law, Josh (Christy) Duran; his dog, Skip and several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the funeral home with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
