Whiting, IN/Port Wentworth-Ms. Donna L. Macon-Wilson "nee Deal", 60, of Whiting,
Indiana and formerly of Port Wentworth passed away Monday, July 26, 2010 at the
Methodist Hospital in Merrillville, IN.

Donna was born on September 19, 1949 in Port Wentworth and was a 1967 graduate of
Groves High School. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and
friend to many. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Loving mother of Robert Cecil (Wanda) Macon, Jr. of Hammond, IN, William Lee (Julie)
Macon of Whiting, IN and Tammy Marie (Rick) Macon-Clay of Highland, IN; cherished
grandmother of Shane Wood, Destiny, Daniel, Jordan, Sydney and Caleb Macon and
Brittany Clay; beloved daughter of Nell Ruth Deal; dearest sister of Jerriel Deal and
Shirley (Dave) Myers and also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cecil Macon and her father, Ira William Deal.

The visitation for Ms. Donna will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral to honor Ms. Donna's life will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2010 in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Emmett Patterson and Rev. Robbie Earl Peebles officiating. Burial will follow at Westside Memorial Gardens on Adams Road in Bloomingdale.
