Mrs. Donnia Marie Emerson, 70, of Pembroke, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Camellia Health & Rehabilitation in Claxton, Georgia.

Donnia was born in Chatham County and was preceded in death by her parents, Haynes and Mary Duggar; and brothers, George Herschel Duggar and Bobby Duggar.  She was a loving and giving person who was always willing to help anyone.  Fly High Donnia until we meet again.

Survivors include her husband, Robert C. Emerson; children, Chad Elliott Proctor and Brandy Proctor; several grandchildren; sisters, Sherry Fries and Sonnia Ambrose; brother, Michael Duggar; sister-in-law, Rulette Duggar; brother-in-law, Donald Ambrose; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.  The funeral to honor Donnia's life will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Effingham Memorial Gardens.
