Donny Wayne Johnson, 67, of Guyton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024 at his home.

Donny was born in Blakely, Georgia and had lived here since 2004.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Howell Johnson and Janie Ruth Moore Johnson.  Donny retired from Effingham County Power Company.  Donny was a member of the Sports Car Club of America where he served nine years as Regional Executive for the Buccaneer Region.  He had been a volunteer since 2005 at the Roebling Road Raceway.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Laura Jean Johnson; children, Emma Johnson and Kevin Johnson; brother, Michael Johnson; nephew, Noah Johnson; niece, Marlee Edgar

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 4, 2024 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
