Dora Alice Kessler

Rincon- Dora Alice Kessler, 83, died Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Effingham Care Center.

She was an Effingham County native and had lived in Rincon all her life. She was a lifelong member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church. She retired from Tetley Tea after 30 years of dedicated service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Alma Kessler, her brothers, Joseph Kessler, Arte Kessler, Jimmy Kessler, and Claudie Kessler, and sisters, Victoria Rought and Hazel White.

Survivors include two sisters, Geneva Farrar of Kingston, TN and Martha Johnson (Johnny) of Rincon; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Visitation: 5-7 pm Tuesday, February 15, 2011 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Jerusalem Lutheran Church with Pastor John Barichivich and Pastor Patrick Finley officiating.

Interment: Jerusalem Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted or remembrances may be given to Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 2966 Ebenezer Rd., Rincon, GA 31326.
